Terms of Use for the "Persona5: The Phantom X" Fan Art Contest
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions applicable to the submission to and participation in the "P5X Fan Art Contest" (hereinafter referred to as "the Event") provided by SEGA CORPORATION (hereinafter referred to as "the Company").
These Terms apply to all matters related to the submission to and participation in the Event. By submitting to or participating in the Event, participants are deemed to have agreed to the content of these Terms.
Eligibility to participate in the Event is limited to individuals who satisfy all of the following requirements:
- Must be at least 13 years old at the time of submission to the Event.
- Must be a player who possesses an ID for "Persona 5: The Phantom X" (hereinafter referred to as "P5X") provided by the Company.
- Must follow the official P5X account on X ("P5X Official X").
- Must post original fan art on X during the entry period designated separately by the Company (the "Entry Period"), with the hashtag #P5X_FanArtContest2025.
Article 3 (Submission Procedures)
Submissions to the Event must be completed by performing all steps designated for each category during the Entry Period. Individuals who apply in accordance with this Article and satisfy the eligibility requirements set forth in the preceding Article shall be deemed participants in the Event (hereinafter referred to as "Participants").
- Follow the P5X Official X account.
- Post original fan art on X with the hashtag #P5X_FanArtContest2025.
Article 4 (Information Registration)
Information provided in connection with participation in the Event will be handled in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy (https://www.sega.co.jp/en/privacypolicy/). By participating in the Event, Participants are deemed to have agreed to the handling of personal information pursuant to the above Privacy Policy and any method separately designated by the Company.
Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)
Applicants and Participants must not engage in any of the following acts:
- Unauthorized reproduction or plagiarism of another person's work.
- Creation of inappropriate fan art (including but not limited to depictions of violence, discrimination, excessive sexual content, content contrary to public order and morals, or content infringing upon copyrights or portrait rights).
- Interference with the operation of the Event.
- Any act that damages the credibility or reputation of the Company or its affiliates.
- Defamation, harassment, or infringement of rights of other users or third parties.
- Posting content containing spoilers without prior notice (For the purpose of this item, "spoilers" refer to any story, characters, or other content that appears after the content available as of P5X Global Version Ver. 2.5).
- Use of in-game screenshots from P5X or photographs of physical devices/screens.
- Posting works created using AI.
- Posting content unrelated to P5X, including content featuring characters or materials that do not appear in P5X even if they belong to the Persona series.
- Posting advertisements or promotional content.
- Posting malicious or false information.
- Posting content that demeans or insults in-game characters.
- False representation implying affiliation with or official endorsement by P5X.
- Any other act deemed inappropriate by the Company.
Article 6 (Awards and Benefits)
- Participants may receive benefits in connection with the Event. Participants selected for such benefits will be contacted via direct message (DM) from the P5X Official X account. If a Participant is unable to use this function or fails to satisfy the conditions specified by the Company (including agreement to the Company's acquisition and provision of personal information necessary for awarding the benefits), the Participant agrees that they will lose all rights to receive such benefits.
- Participants may not transfer, assign, pledge, or otherwise dispose of their rights to receive benefits to any third party.
- The content, method, timing, or any other aspect of the benefits shall be determined or modified at the Company's discretion. Participants acknowledge that the Company will not respond to inquiries regarding the selection process for benefits.
Article 7 (Suspension or Revocation of Participation)
If the Company determines that a Participant falls under any of the following conditions, the Company may, without prior notice, suspend participation in the Event, freeze the Participant's account, revoke eligibility, cancel awarded benefits, or take any other measures deemed necessary:
- Violation of these Terms.
- Confirmation of fraudulent or improper conduct.
- Any other act deemed inappropriate for the operation of the Event.
Article 8 (Copyrights and Intellectual Property)
- Copyright to the content created by Participants for the Event (the "Submitted Content") shall, in principle, belong to the Participant.
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Company and its affiliates ("the Company Group") may, for the purposes of promotion, introduction, record-keeping, exhibition of fan art in designated venues, and use within P5X or other games developed or sold by the Company, use or display all or part of the Submitted Content without limitation as to period, region, or medium. Participants grant the Company Group an irrevocable and royalty-free license to use the Submitted Content (including sublicensing to third parties where necessary) and agree not to exercise their moral rights therein. Participants also consent to the Company's discretion regarding whether or not to credit their name, handle, or other identifiers.
- Participants must include the following copyright notice on the Submitted Content. If the Submitted Content does not include this notice, Participants agree that the Company may add it in any manner it deems appropriate:

Article 9 (Confidentiality)
Participants must not disclose to third parties any non-public or unpublished information of the Company learned through the Event.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
The Company assumes no responsibility for:
- Any individual inquiries or matters related to Event participation or awarding of benefits.
- Any disputes arising between Participants and third parties concerning Submitted Content.
- Any damages incurred by Participants due to interruption, modification, or termination of the Event.
Article 11 (Amendments to the Terms)
The Company may modify these Terms without prior notice to Participants when deemed necessary. Modifications take effect at the time they are posted on the Event website.
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
Article 13 (Language)
The Japanese version of these Terms shall be the original and authentic version. The English version is provided solely for reference. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.
